Security
All external IT access to MTarget infrastructures must pass through front-end firewalls, which, in addition to filtering, perform archiving of connection logs on dedicated servers. The firewaling implemented at this level also offers protection mechanisms to counter classic attacks on IP and associated protocols: TCP SYN Flood, Ping Flooding, Teardrop, DNS amplification attacks, SMURF, Ping of Death, Force SYN Packet Check, DROP policy on ICMP, etc. On the other hand, NIDS internal network traffic listening probes constantly analyze the frames for non-compliant traffic.
MTarget also applies a rigorous policy of updating security patches for various hardware devices as well as the software bricks of each physical server and VM. These updates respond to a continuous monitoring of our teams on the state of the application park, as well as recurring processes of homogenization of the hosted park in order to limit security breaches as much as possible. Dedicated teams supervise all the servers using 24/7 system supervision tools with automatic notification via several media (mail, sms) on software, hardware failures or too slow response times. This covers security, the use of application resources, server capacities (cpu, disks, etc.), backups. In order to maintain activity, a risk analysis is carried out regularly, by constantly adding new rules according to changes in the scope. In addition, the teams systematically carry out real-life failure scenarios in order to improve the reactivity of failure detection, while validating the ability to offer continuity of service via the application redundancies implemented.
